During the epidemic in Wuhan, at the risk of fines for breach of contract, Far East Gitley donated all the lunch boxes originally scheduled to be delivered abroad to Wuhan Catering Association for free. The number of donated environmentally friendly lunch boxes totaled more than 430,000, with a total value of about 570,000 yuan.

      The donation was personally directed by Su Binglong, Chairman of Far East Gitley. In order to ensure the timeliness of meals for frontline medical staff, Far East Gitley chartered the whole journey regardless of the high freight costs during the epidemic. It is reported that the donated lunch boxes are all disposable, degradable and compostable environmentally friendly lunch boxes. The main raw materials are made of sugarcane bagasse, wheat straw and other plants, which can perfectly replace disposable plastic and foamed lunch boxes. After the lunch box is used, it can be naturally degraded into organic fertilizer without any treatment.

       It is understood that on February 2, 2020, Far East Gittery had donated a total of more than 450,000 environmentally-friendly lunch boxes with a total value of more than 420,000 yuan, all of which were received and supplied to Huangpi by the Civil Affairs Bureau of Huangpi District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is used for meals by medical staff and related personnel in various hospitals in the district.
